This applies to all HTTP requests across all endpoints.\n    \n- Response time: Varies by query complexity and system load, and reflects only server-side processing time, not network transfer time between client and server—80% < 350ms, 90% < 580ms, 95% < 850ms.\n    \n- Optimized for low-latency, real-time screening scenarios.\n    \n\n### Getting Started\n\nTo begin using the API, simply [sign up for a free trial](https://api.sanctions.io/users/signup) and retrieve your **API key** from the sanctions.io portal.\n\n- **Trial accounts** include access to both the Screening API and Monitoring API, covering Sanctions, HRJ (High-Risk Jurisdiction), and PEP screening.\n    \n- **Adverse Media screening** is not included in the trial. The token can be found in the sanctions.io user portal.\n\n(For the time being, the token can also be sent in the URL parameters.
